Bundesliga fixtures and table

About the Bundesliga

German football is deliberately organised differently from the English game. Standing is permitted at league matches, ticket prices are held down on purpose, and supporters retain influence over their clubs through the membership structure. The result is a matchday that feels less commercial, with full terraces and a crowd that arrives early and stays.

For a visitor that produces some of the best atmospheres in Europe, at a fraction of Premier League prices. Beer is served on the concourse, the terraces behind the goals are full well before kick-off, and the noise is sustained rather than reactive.

The catch is that tickets are scarce precisely because they are cheap. Clubs sell to members and season ticket holders first, and for the bigger fixtures little remains. One practical difference to note: European matches require all-seater configurations, which lowers the capacity and changes the feel of the evening compared with a league game. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

Tickets and hospitality for this competition

At Bundesliga clubs we arrange both regular tickets and hospitality. The difference between the two goes beyond price here: a place on the home terrace is the cheapest and most striking way to watch, but you stand shoulder to shoulder with no fixed spot. Hospitality gives a guaranteed seat with catering. One practical point: many grounds take payment for food and drink by rechargeable stadium card, so top one up when you arrive.

• Regular tickets: € 30 to € 390 per person

Ticketing and fixture dates

The fixture list appears before the season; kick-off times per round are set a few weeks ahead. Saturday matches usually start at 15:30 or 18:30 local time, with additional fixtures on Friday evening and Sunday.

Ticketing runs through the clubs, who sell to members and season ticket holders first. For the bigger fixtures the remainder goes quickly. Standing is permitted at league matches; European fixtures require seating and the capacity is lower.

For an ordinary league match, booking a few weeks ahead is usually enough. For marquee fixtures and European nights, earlier.
