FC Köln play at the RheinEnergieStadion, the former Müngersdorfer Stadion, in the west of Cologne. The ground opened in 1923 and was completely rebuilt in 2004; it holds just over 50,000. The support is known as one of the most passionate in Germany, with a warm, carnival-like atmosphere. Tram 1 gets you there quickly. For the top matches tickets go quickly.
The RheinEnergieStadion is one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Bundesliga, mostly because of the support. FC Köln and the city of Cologne are inseparable, and the warm, loud atmosphere in the stands has something of the Cologne carnival. When it is full, the whole ground sings along.
The modern ground with its four distinctive floodlight masts replaced the old Müngersdorfer Stadion on almost the same site in 2004. The support brought its traditions and songs.
For a visitor, Cologne is superbly connected, with direct rail links and a lively centre with the famous cathedral. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the top games it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The RheinEnergieStadion is in the Müngersdorf area, in the west of Cologne. Tram 1 takes you from Neumarkt in the centre to the RheinEnergieStadion stop in about fifteen minutes. Several bus routes and the S-Bahn also serve the ground. By car you arrive via the ring road around Cologne; there is extensive parking around the ground.
At FC Köln, official hospitality is based in the business and lounge areas of the RheinEnergieStadion. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In an atmospheric ground like this it is a pleasant way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.
Come well before kick-off and travel by tram 1 from the centre, as parking can take time when busy. Bring an ID. If you want to make a day of it, Cologne cathedral, the old town and the many breweries are a short tram ride away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the top games they go faster; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
