About FC Augsburg

The WWK Arena is the home of FC Augsburg, the biggest football club in Bavarian Swabia. The ground opened in 2009 and is partly sunk below ground level. The stands are steep, so you sit close to the pitch. In 2011 it hosted matches at the Women's World Cup. For league matches it holds 30,660.

The club have played in the Bundesliga since 2011. The match against Bayern Munich, less than 100 kilometres away, is seen as the Bavarian derby and is often sold out. The fans on the terrace keep up the singing, drums and flags for the whole match.

Augsburg is an old city with a beautiful centre, known for the Fuggerei, the housing estate founded by the Fugger family. The nearest airports are Memmingen and Munich; from either you reach Augsburg in about an hour and a half by train, or by bus and train. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

Hospitality at FC Augsburg

At FC Augsburg, hospitality is based in the main stand, with a business club and lounges. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat in the main stand and food and drink in the business club or a lounge before and after the match. In a compact ground like this you are close to the pitch and close to the atmosphere, while sitting in comfort yourself. That works well for a corporate guest or a group.

  • Regular tickets from € 33 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off and take the stadium tram from Augsburg Hauptbahnhof. After the match the tram runs more often, about every two to three minutes. According to the club, a match ticket is also valid as a bus and tram ticket in zones 10 and 20 from three hours before until three hours after the match. If you come by car, you can also park at the Messe Augsburg, with a shuttle bus to the ground. If you want to make a few days of it, we put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport; Augsburg combines well with a visit to Munich.
