About 1899 Hoffenheim

The SNP Arena is the home of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, the club from the village of Hoffenheim, a district of Sinsheim. The ground opened in January 2009 and replaced the much smaller Dietmar-Hopp-Stadion. It holds 30,150 for league matches. In 2011 it hosted some of the matches at the Women's World Cup.

Hoffenheim have played in the Bundesliga without a break since 2008. The matches against VfB Stuttgart and SC Freiburg are Baden-Württemberg derbies and carry extra weight. The ground is also full against Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

For a visitor, Sinsheim combines well with Heidelberg, about half an hour away by S-Bahn. The nearest major airport is Frankfurt; from there you travel by train via Mannheim or Heidelberg to Sinsheim. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The SNP Arena is in the Sinsheim-Süd business park, just over two kilometres from the small historic centre of Sinsheim. The ground sits right next to the A6 motorway, exit Sinsheim-Süd. The nearest station is Sinsheim Museum/Arena, about fifteen minutes' walk away. It is served by the S-Bahn S5 to and from Heidelberg and the S42 to and from Heilbronn. On matchdays a shuttle bus runs from the main station, Sinsheim (Elsenz), to the ground.

Hospitality at 1899 Hoffenheim

At Hoffenheim, hospitality is based in the business seats, lounges and boxes of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact ground like this it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

  • Regular tickets from € 80 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off and preferably travel by train. On matchdays all trains stop at Sinsheim Museum/Arena and extra trains run. Your match ticket is also valid on the day as a public transport ticket in the VRN and HNV areas. Parking at the ground is limited and the A6 is busy after the match. If you are coming from further away, we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport, for example with a hotel in Heidelberg.
