De Grolsch Veste is one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Eredivisie. It is a compact, steep bowl where the crowd sits close to the pitch, and that is exactly what makes a match here special. When it is full, the noise comes from every side, with the Vak-P stand as the beating heart of the support.

FC Twente is the club of the whole Twente region, and you notice that in the city on a matchday. Supporters from Enschede, Hengelo and the surrounding villages travel to the ground together, and the atmosphere is outspoken but good-natured.

For a visitor from elsewhere, Enschede is easy to reach by train, and the stadium sits on the edge of the city next to the university campus. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available. For the derby against Heracles Almelo, the top games and European nights it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat, including the matches that sell out quickly.

Hospitality at FC Twente

At FC Twente, official hospitality is based in the business club and the executive boxes along the side of the stadium. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good central seat on the halfway line, a separate entrance, and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off, especially by car, as the parking around the ground fills up. By train you get off at Enschede Drienerlo, within walking distance of the entrances. Bring an ID, as it is checked at some matches. If you want to make a day of it, the centre of Enschede and the Twente countryside are close by.
