About Willem II

The Koning Willem II Stadion is the home of Willem II, three-time champions of the Netherlands. Football has been played on this site on the Goirleseweg since the 1920s. The old ground was demolished in the early 1990s and replaced by the current stadium, which opened in 1995. In 2009 it was named the Koning Willem II Stadion. It holds about 14,500, all seated.

In the 2026/27 season Willem II play in the Eredivisie. The match Tilburg looks forward to is the Brabant derby against NAC Breda. The games against Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV also draw a full house. The club play in red, white and blue, hence the nickname the Tricolores.

Tilburg is easy to reach. Eindhoven Airport is just over 30 kilometres away and Tilburg station is on the NS rail network. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

Hospitality at Willem II

At Willem II, hospitality is based in the business seats and business rooms of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact ground like this it is a pleasant way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off, especially for the derby against NAC Breda. Bus 8 from Tilburg station is the easiest route; the stop is busy after the match, so allow for some waiting time. If you are travelling from further away, Eindhoven Airport and Tilburg railway station are the obvious starting points. We can combine ticket, accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, Tilburg city centre is close by.
