About Blackburn Rovers

Ewood Park is one of the oldest football grounds in England and has been the home of Blackburn Rovers, one of the founding members of the Football League, since 1890. In the 1990s owner Jack Walker had the stadium almost entirely rebuilt. In that same period, in 1995, Blackburn won the Premier League. The largest stand now bears his name. The ground holds just over 31,000.

The big match is the East Lancashire derby against Burnley, the neighbours some twenty kilometres away. The matches against Preston North End and Bolton Wanderers also mean a lot in the region. On those days the ground is well filled and the atmosphere is at its height. A nice detail: the seats in the Riverside Stand spell out the word ROVERS.

For a visitor, Blackburn is a true football town in the north of England. The nearest major airport is Manchester Airport; from there you travel by train, with one change, to Blackburn in about an hour and a half. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

Hospitality at Blackburn Rovers

At Blackburn Rovers, hospitality is mainly based in the Jack Walker Stand, the largest stand in the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

  • Regular tickets from € 66 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off. Travel by train or bus if you can, as parking near the ground is limited and the surrounding streets often have rules for residents. Not every train stops at Mill Hill; Blackburn station has more connections and is within walking distance. If you are coming from further afield, Manchester is the easiest starting point: from Manchester Airport the train gets you to Blackburn in about an hour and a half. We can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together as a tailor-made football trip.
