Genoa play at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, in the Marassi district of Genoa. The ground opened in January 1911 and holds just over 33,000. Genoa share it with city neighbours Sampdoria. From Genova Brignole station it is about a twenty-minute walk, or you can take a city bus. For matches against Juventus, Inter and AC Milan tickets go quickly, as they do for the Derby della Lanterna against Sampdoria when both clubs play in the same division.

The Stadio Luigi Ferraris is one of the oldest stadiums in Italy and the home of Genoa, the oldest football club still in existence in the country. The club were founded in 1893 and have been Italian champions nine times. The ground opened in 1911 and was extensively rebuilt for the 1990 World Cup.
The Ferraris is a true English-style ground: four straight stands close to the pitch, with red corner towers. Genoa's hardcore support stands on the Gradinata Nord, behind the goal. The biggest match in the city is the Derby della Lanterna against Sampdoria, named after the lighthouse in the harbour. The ground is also full against Juventus, Inter and AC Milan.
Genoa is a port city with a large old town. Cristoforo Colombo Airport is on the edge of the city, with a bus to Brignole and Principe stations. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Stadio Luigi Ferraris is in the Marassi district, on the river Bisagno, east of the centre of Genoa. The nearest railway station is Genova Brignole; from there it is about a twenty-minute walk. City buses also run from Brignole towards the ground, such as route 37 and routes 480 and 482 along the Bisagno. From Piazza Principe station take a bus or taxi.
At Genoa, hospitality is about a better seat and more service. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat with a view of the whole pitch and food and drink before and after the match. Because the stands at the Ferraris are so close to the pitch, you are close to the action. That makes it a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.
Come well before kick-off, as it gets busy around the entrances before the match. Travel by bus or on foot from Brignole, as parking in Marassi is difficult. Afterwards it is quieter if you wait a little or walk back to the centre. From the airport the Volabus runs to Brignole; we can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together for you. If you want to make a day of it, the old harbour, Via Garibaldi and the Lanterna are a short distance away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. Against Juventus, Inter and AC Milan they go quickly, and also for the Derby della Lanterna when both clubs play in the same division; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
Take the train to Genova Brignole. From there it is about a twenty-minute walk to the ground, or you can take a city bus, such as route 37.
Yes. Both clubs have played at the Ferraris since 1946. Genoa have the Gradinata Nord behind one goal, Sampdoria the Gradinata Sud behind the other.
Genoa were founded in 1893 and are the oldest football club still in existence in Italy. The club have been league champions nine times. Their nickname is Il Grifone, the griffin from the city's coat of arms, and their colours are red and blue.
