Cagliari play at the Unipol Domus, in the Sant'Elia district on the south-eastern side of Cagliari, about three kilometres from the centre. The ground opened in September 2017 and stands next to the old Stadio Sant'Elia. It holds just over 16,000. You can reach it by CTM city bus from Piazza Matteotti, next to the main station. Because the ground is small and many places go to season-ticket holders, tickets for matches against the big clubs go quickly.

About Cagliari

The Unipol Domus is the home of Cagliari, the club of all Sardinia. The ground opened in 2017, next to the old Stadio Sant'Elia where the club played for decades. With just over 16,000 places it is one of the smaller grounds in Serie A, but the stands are close to the pitch and the stadium is almost always well filled.

Cagliari won their only league title in the 1969/70 season, with Gigi Riva as the big star. His number 11 shirt is no longer issued by the club. The matches against the big clubs from the mainland are the highlights of the season; then the Curva Nord is at its loudest and the ground is full.

For a visitor, Cagliari is a beautiful destination: an old city by the sea, lots of sunshine and Poetto beach close by. A train runs from Cagliari-Elmas airport to the main station; we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Unipol Domus is in the Sant'Elia district, about three kilometres south-east of the centre of Cagliari, between the salt flats and the sea. The address is Via Raimondo Carta Raspi. From Piazza Matteotti, next to the main station, CTM buses run towards the ground, including route 3 and route 5; get off at the Amsicora stadium and walk the last stretch. A new, larger stadium is planned on the site of the old Stadio Sant'Elia.

Hospitality at Cagliari

At Cagliari, hospitality is based in the main stand of the Unipol Domus. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat with a view of the whole pitch, a separate entrance and food and drink before and after the match. In a small ground where the crowd sits close to the pitch, it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

  • Hospitality from € 143 per person (indication)
  • Regular tickets from € 38 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off, as the buses and the area around the ground are busy on matchdays. Cagliari-Elmas airport is about twelve kilometres from the ground; from the railway station at the airport you are in the centre in no time. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, the old Castello quarter and Poetto beach are a short distance away.
