About Manchester City

The Etihad is a spacious modern stadium with a distinctive cable-supported roof and wide concourses around it. It forms part of a larger sports campus in east Manchester, with the club's training pitches across the road. That gives the surroundings a different character from the tight residential streets around Anfield or Old Trafford: here there is room.

The atmosphere has been a talking point in recent seasons, including among the club's own supporters. The ground fills late and can go quiet when City are comfortably ahead. For the bigger fixtures, and certainly for the derby against United, it is another matter.

Access is a genuine advantage: the tram stops at the ground and the city centre is fifteen minutes away. Club tickets are limited and go to members first. We arrange official hospitality and ticket packages with a confirmed seat, so you can commit to flights and a hotel. City run one of the more extensive hospitality programmes in England, with several lounges and restaurant formats around the halfway line.

Manchester Airport is south of the city, roughly forty-five minutes away by public transport.

Hospitality at Manchester City

Manchester City offer one of the broadest hospitality programmes in England, with several lounges, restaurants and club levels along the halfway line and in the corners. The difference from a regular ticket is position and service: a guaranteed central seat, a dedicated entrance without queues, and lounge access with a meal and drinks. General tickets sit more often in the third tier or behind the goal, where the view is wider but further away.

  • Hospitality from € 120 per person (indication)
  • Regular tickets from € 168 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Arrive ninety minutes before kick-off. There are fewer pubs around the ground than at the older English clubs; many supporters drink in the centre first and take the tram out. Afterwards the Etihad Campus stop is busy, but trams run frequently. To make more of the day, the Northern Quarter is within walking distance of Piccadilly, where you change anyway. Premier League kick-off times move regularly for television.
