About the League Two

League Two is the bottom tier of the English professional game and the level at which a matchday sits closest to the club itself. Grounds are small, the crowd knows each other, and admission costs a fraction of what is charged higher up.

For a visitor it is the simplest competition to get into: at nearly every club you can simply buy a ticket, including in the week of the match or at the turnstile.

Tickets and hospitality for this competition

At League Two clubs we arrange regular tickets. Hospitality at this level is limited and simple in format. Tell us which fixture you want to attend and we will look into it.

Ticketing and fixture dates

The fixture list appears in June. Alongside the weekend programme there is Tuesday evening football. Kick-off times rarely move, as television interest is limited.

Nearly every club sells tickets on general release, including at short notice.

Frequently asked questions

Can I still get a ticket on the day?

At most clubs, yes. This is the level at which ticketing is least restricted.

When are matches played?

At weekends and on Tuesday evenings, because the programme runs to forty-six matches per club.

What does a ticket cost?

Considerably less than higher up. It varies by club; we confirm per fixture.

Want to be first to know which matches come up?

The biggest matches go quickly. We let you know as soon as seats come up, and now and then share something about the stadiums and matchday itself. Unsubscribe any time with one click.

You will first receive an email to confirm your subscription. We never pass your address on to anyone.
