About the League One

League One shows the side of English football that rarely appears on television: clubs with long histories, grounds in former industrial towns and a crowd drawn almost entirely from the local area. For anyone who visits for the atmosphere rather than the star names, this is often a better experience than a marquee fixture.

Practically it is the easiest English division to attend. Nearly every club has general availability, including in the week of the match, and prices sit well below the divisions above.

Tickets and hospitality for this competition

At League One clubs we arrange regular tickets and, where clubs offer it, hospitality. Because there is nearly always room, a regular ticket is usually the sensible choice here. Tell us which fixture you want to attend.

Ticketing and fixture dates

The fixture list appears in June. Alongside the weekend programme there is a lot of Tuesday evening football, as the season runs to forty-six matches per club. Kick-off times rarely move.

Most clubs sell to the general public after their season ticket holders, including in the week of the match.
