About Malaga

La Rosaleda has been the home of Málaga since 1941. The ground is in the heart of the city, on the bank of the Guadalmedina, and has been rebuilt several times over the years. In 1982 it was expanded for the World Cup in Spain. Between 2000 and 2006 it was given a major renovation, with covered stands and more comfort. It now holds just over 30,000.

Málaga play in the Primera División, Spain's top flight, in the 2026/27 season. The club have a loyal following and a large part of the ground is filled with season ticket holders. The highlights are the matches against Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid and the Andalusian derbies. The oldest rivals are Granada, with whom Málaga contest the eastern Andalusian derby.

For a visitor, Málaga is a great destination: sun, sea and a stadium within walking distance of the centre. The C1 train connects Málaga Airport with Centro-Alameda station in about twelve minutes. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with your ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

La Rosaleda is in the north of Málaga, between the Guadalmedina river and Avenida de Palmilla. The cathedral in the historic centre is less than two kilometres away; on foot it takes twenty to thirty minutes. From the Alameda Principal, bus 17 (Avenida Doctor Marañón stop), bus 26 (Rosario Pino stop) and bus 2 (Jorge Silvela stop) reach the ground in under ten minutes. From Centro-Alameda railway station it is about a fifteen-minute walk.

Hospitality at Malaga

At Málaga, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground, which were added during the 2000 to 2006 renovation. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a stadium where the crowd sits close to the pitch, it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

  • Hospitality from € 208 per person (indication)
  • Regular tickets from € 51 per person (indication)

This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off and walk or take the bus, as there is little parking near the ground and the roads are busy after the match. The walk from the centre along the Guadalmedina is easy. If you are flying in, the C1 train takes you from the airport to Centro-Alameda, on the edge of the centre. We can arrange your ticket, accommodation and transport together as a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the cathedral, the Alcazaba and the harbour are all close to each other in the centre.
