The Abanca-Riazor is one of the oldest stadiums in Spain's top flight and stands in a special spot: on the edge of the beach, with the Atlantic Ocean just a few steps away. The ground opened in 1944, was rebuilt for the 1982 World Cup and took its current shape in the late 1990s, with four stands close to the pitch. It holds just over 32,000.
Deportivo are back in the Primera División for the 2026/27 season, after eight years at a lower level. The club were Spanish champions in 2000 and have a loyal following across Galicia. The biggest match is the derby against Celta Vigo; then the ground is full and the atmosphere is the best of the whole year.
For a visitor, A Coruña is an attractive destination: a seaside city with a historic centre and a stadium within walking distance. You can fly into A Coruña Airport, fifteen to twenty minutes from the city, or into Santiago de Compostela; we are happy to put together a tailor-made football trip with your ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Abanca-Riazor is on Rúa Manuel Murguía, at the western end of Riazor beach. From Plaza de María Pita in the historic centre it is about a twenty-minute walk, mostly along the seafront promenade. Bus routes 3 and 7 link the ground with the centre. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and hotels around the stadium.
At Deportivo, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a stadium where the crowd is so close to the pitch, it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.
Come well before kick-off and walk or take the bus, as parking near the ground is limited. The walk along the promenade from the centre is worth it in itself. From A Coruña Airport a bus runs into the city; from Santiago de Compostela Airport you can reach A Coruña by bus or train in just over an hour. We can arrange your ticket, accommodation and transport together in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the old town, the Tower of Hercules and the promenade along the bay are a short distance away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the derby against Celta Vigo and matches against the big clubs they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
From Plaza de María Pita in the centre it is about a twenty-minute walk. You can also take bus 3 or 7; both run between the centre and the ground.
