The Jan Breydel Stadium is the home of Club Brugge, one of the biggest clubs in Belgium. Club Brugge play in the Belgian First Division. The stadium opened in 1975 and took on its current name and shape around 2000, when it was one of the venues of Euro 2000. It holds just over 29,000.
The biggest match of the season is the top game against RSC Anderlecht, for many Club Brugge supporters the real rival. Then there is the Bruges derby against Cercle Brugge, who play in the same stadium. The club have planning permission for a new stadium next to the current one; until the move, planned for around 2029, Club Brugge play at the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Bruges is easy to reach by train. Direct trains run from Brussels all day, and a few a day run directly from Brussels Airport. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Jan Breydel Stadium is in Sint-Andries, a district of Bruges, about 3.5 to 4 kilometres west of the historic city centre. The stadium stands in a sports zone with parks and playing fields. From Bruges station, De Lijn bus 30 runs to the Sint-Andries Kerk stop, about a five-minute walk from the stadium. Lines 7 and 17 towards Sint-Andries also run from the station. On foot it takes 40 to 50 minutes; by bike it is a short ride.
At Club Brugge, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact stadium like the Jan Breydel Stadium you sit close to the pitch. That makes it a pleasant way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
This is the lowest price per type in our current range. The two figures may come from different fixtures, as prices vary considerably by opponent.
Come well before kick-off, as it gets busy around the ground before the match. Parking at the stadium is limited and mainly intended for parking permit holders; the bus or a bike is more convenient. Bruges is on the rail network: from Brussels the train takes about an hour direct to Bruges, and a few direct trains a day run from Brussels Airport. If you wish, we put together a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the old city centre with the Markt and the canals is a short distance away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the big match against RSC Anderlecht, the Bruges derby against Cercle Brugge and European nights they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
From Bruges station, take De Lijn bus 30 to the Sint-Andries Kerk stop; from there it is about a five-minute walk. Walking from the station takes 40 to 50 minutes.
