Bloomfield Road has been the home of Blackpool since 1901. The ground is within walking distance of the promenade and the famous Blackpool Tower. The club play in bright orange, which is also where one of their nicknames comes from: The Tangerines. The other nickname is The Seasiders.
Blackpool were founded in 1887. The greatest moment came in 1953: Blackpool won the FA Cup with a 4-3 win over Bolton Wanderers at Wembley. In England that match is known as the Matthews Final, after winger Stanley Matthews. In 2010/11 the club spent a season in the Premier League. In 2026/27 Blackpool play in League One.
Blackpool lies on the Lancashire coast and can be reached by train via Preston.
