The Elindus Arena is the home of Zulte Waregem, popularly known as Essevee. The ground opened in 1957 for the road cycling world championships. That is where the old name Regenboogstadion comes from, after the world champion's rainbow jersey. Between 2014 and 2018 the stadium was renewed step by step. All the stands are now covered and it holds 12,414.
Zulte Waregem play in the Belgian top flight. The club have won the Belgian Cup twice and have played in Europe several times. The match that matters most is the derby against KV Kortrijk, the neighbours from South-West Flanders. When the big Belgian clubs visit, the ground is well filled too. The most passionate supporters are on the standing terrace behind the goal.
Waregem lies between Ghent and Kortrijk and is easy to reach by train, including from Brussels. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Elindus Arena is on the Zuiderlaan in Waregem, close to the town centre. Waregem railway station is within walking distance. The nearest bus stop is called Waregem Regenboogstadion. By car, take exit 5 on the E17 between Ghent and Kortrijk, towards Waregem. On matchdays you can park in the car parks in the town centre.
At Zulte Waregem, hospitality is based in skyboxes on several levels and in the business areas of the main stand. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink before and after the match. In a stadium of this size you are close to the pitch. That makes it a pleasant way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Come well before kick-off. If you can, travel by train: from Ghent the journey takes about fifteen minutes and from Kortrijk about ten. Trains run direct from Brussels-South to Waregem. If you are flying, you will usually land at Brussels Airport and continue by train via Brussels-South. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, Ghent and Kortrijk are a short train ride away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the derby against KV Kortrijk and visits from the big Belgian clubs they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
