The Bluenergy Stadium is the home of Udinese, the club from Friuli in north-eastern Italy. The ground opened in 1976 as the Stadio Friuli and hosted three matches at the 1990 World Cup. The 2013 to 2016 rebuild removed the athletics track and brought the stands close to the pitch. In 2025 the stadium hosted the UEFA Super Cup.
Udinese play in Serie A. The busiest matches are those against Juventus, Inter and AC Milan, when the ground is full. The match against Hellas Verona also matters, as it is the derby of the Triveneto, the north-eastern region. The roof is covered in solar panels and the stadium is regarded as one of the most sustainable in Europe.
Udine is a quiet, beautiful city between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. From Trieste Airport a direct train takes about 40 minutes to Udine; Venice Airport is also within reach. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Bluenergy Stadium is on Piazzale Argentina in the Rizzi district, on the edge of Udine. The centre is about four to six kilometres away. City bus route 2 runs from the railway station to the ground. On matchdays shuttle buses also run from Udine station straight to the stadium. By car the ground is close to the ring road and the A23 motorway, with parking next to the entrances.
At Udinese, hospitality is based in the business seats, lounges and skyboxes of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. Because the ground is compact and the stands are close to the pitch, you are close to the action in hospitality too. That makes it a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Come well before kick-off. Travel from the station by shuttle bus or route 2, as the roads around the ground are busy before and after the match. If you are flying, Trieste Airport is the nearest; the train runs direct to Udine station. We can arrange ticket, hotel and transport together as a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the Piazza della Libertà and Udine Castle in the centre are worth a visit.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. Against Juventus, Inter and AC Milan the ground is full and tickets go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
Take city bus route 2 from Udine railway station. On matchdays shuttle buses also run from the station to the ground.
Yes. The ground's official name is Stadio Friuli. Bluenergy Stadium is the sponsor's name; it was previously called the Dacia Arena.
