The Swansea.com Stadium is the home of Swansea City, the biggest club in West Wales. The ground opened in 2005 and replaced the Vetch Field, where the club had played for almost a hundred years. It holds just over 21,000. Swansea City are a Welsh club but play in the English league system. In the 2026/27 season that means the Championship, the second tier.

The most important match of the year is the South Wales derby against Cardiff City. In 2026/27 Cardiff City and Wrexham are also in the Championship, so there are several Welsh derbies on the fixture list. Then the ground is full and the atmosphere at its peak.

Swansea lies by the sea, with the bay and the Gower Peninsula close to the city. Direct trains run from London Paddington to Swansea, and the nearest airport is Cardiff Airport, just over an hour away. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The stadium and how to get there

The Swansea.com Stadium is in Landore, in the north of Swansea, on the east bank of the River Tawe. The centre and Swansea railway station are about 2.5 kilometres away. Walking from the station takes about half an hour. The bus is quicker: routes 4, 120, 125 and X20 take around six minutes from the centre to the stops at Landore and the stadium.

Hospitality at Swansea City

At Swansea City, hospitality is based in the lounges and corporate areas of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact stadium like this you sit close to the pitch. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off, especially for a derby. Take the bus from the centre, or walk the half hour from the station. Parking at the ground is limited and first come, first served; the roads are busy after the match. If you are travelling from further away, direct trains run from London Paddington and Cardiff Airport is just over an hour from Swansea. We can combine ticket, accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the marina, the beach and the Gower are a short distance away.
