The Stade Francis-Le Blé is the home of Stade Brestois 29, the club from the port city of Brest, at the far western tip of Brittany. The ground opened in 1922 as the Stade de l'Armoricaine and took its current name in 1982. After redevelopments in 1982 and 2010 it holds just over 15,000. The club play in Ligue 1 and played in the Champions League in the 2024/25 season.

The big matches are the Breton derbies against Stade Rennais and FC Lorient. Visits from clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique de Marseille also draw a full house. The stands are close to the pitch, giving the atmosphere you would expect from a smaller ground. There are plans for a new stadium in Guipavas, on the edge of Brest.

Brest is easy to reach. Brest Bretagne airport is about 10 kilometres north-east of the city, and a direct high-speed train runs from Paris Montparnasse to Brest in about four hours. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The stadium and how to get there

The Stade Francis-Le Blé is on the Route de Quimper, in the Saint-Marc district in the east of Brest. The centre and the railway station are about 2.5 kilometres away. Tram line A stops at Place de Strasbourg, about 500 metres from the ground. From the centre the tram runs there directly. You can also walk; allow a good half hour, with a steep climb along the Rue Jean-Jaurès.

Hospitality at Stade Brestois 29

At Stade Brestois 29, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat in the main stand and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a ground of this size the number of seats is limited, so a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty, especially for the big matches. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off. Travel by tram, as parking near the ground is limited and the streets are busy on matchdays. On match evenings a free shuttle bus also runs from the car park at Océanopolis. If you are coming from further afield, you can fly into Brest Bretagne or take the train from Paris Montparnasse; we are happy to put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, the port, the Château de Brest and the Océanopolis sea aquarium are well worth a visit.
