Loftus Road has been the home of Queens Park Rangers for more than a hundred years. The ground was built in 1904 and QPR moved in in 1917. It is a compact stadium with four stands close to the pitch, right among the houses of Shepherd's Bush. That makes a match here feel intimate, and you hear everything that happens on the pitch.
The most passionate home fans traditionally sit in The Loft, the stand behind one of the goals. The biggest rivals are Chelsea; matches against Fulham and Brentford also matter. When those clubs are in the same league, those are the matches of the year. The club's blue and white horizontal stripes gave them the nickname The Hoops.
For a visitor, Loftus Road is easy to reach. From Heathrow Airport, take the Elizabeth line to Ealing Broadway and change there to the Central line to White City. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
Loftus Road is on South Africa Road in Shepherd's Bush, west London, about three kilometres west of Hyde Park. The nearest Underground station is White City on the Central line, about a five-minute walk away. Wood Lane, on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines, is about seven minutes away. Shepherd's Bush Market, on the same lines, is about ten minutes away. Shepherd's Bush station, for the Central line and the London Overground, is about a fifteen-minute walk. The large Westfield London shopping centre is close to the ground.
At QPR, hospitality is based in the lounges and executive boxes of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact stadium like Loftus Road you then sit close to the pitch in comfort, which is especially pleasant for a corporate guest or a group.
Come well before kick-off and travel by Underground, as parking around the ground is very limited and the surrounding streets are closed before the match. From central London the Central line takes you straight to White City; from Heathrow you change at Ealing Broadway. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport, with a hotel in Shepherd's Bush or elsewhere in London. The concourses are narrow, so it gets busy at half-time and after the match. If you want to make a day of it, Westfield London, Notting Hill and Kensington are a short distance away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For London derbies and matches against clubs with a large following they go quickly, as the ground is small; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
By Underground. White City on the Central line is about a five-minute walk from the ground, and Wood Lane on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines about seven minutes.
In the 2026/27 season QPR play in the Championship, the second tier of English football.
The nickname comes from the shirt with blue and white horizontal stripes, known in English as hoops.
