Meadow Lane has been the home of Notts County since 1910. The ground is on the north bank of the Trent. Across the river, a few hundred metres away, is Nottingham Forest's City Ground. Few cities have two professional grounds so close together.
Notts County were founded in 1862 and call themselves the oldest professional club in the world. In 1888 the club were one of the founders of the Football League, and in 1894 they won the FA Cup, the first club from outside the top flight to do so. Juventus still play in black and white thanks to shirts the Italians once received from Nottingham. In 2025/26 Notts County finished fifth in League Two and won the play-off final. In League One the club play the derby against Mansfield Town.
Nottingham is easy to reach by train, including directly from London St Pancras. The nearest airport is East Midlands; we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the derby it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
Meadow Lane is on the north bank of the Trent, south-east of the centre of Nottingham. Nottingham railway station is about a kilometre away; it is a walk of 10 to 15 minutes. From the centre it is a little further, about a 20-minute walk. Across the river are Nottingham Forest's City Ground and the Trent Bridge cricket ground.
At Notts County, hospitality is based in the lounges and corporate areas of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a manageable ground like this it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Arrive well before kick-off and travel by train if you can. From Nottingham station it is a short walk to the ground. There is little parking around the ground, especially when Nottingham Forest are at home on the same day. Nottingham has direct trains to London St Pancras, Birmingham and Sheffield. We can combine the ticket with accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For big matches, derbies and the cup competitions they go more quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
Take the train to Nottingham station. From there it is a walk of about 10 to 15 minutes to the ground on the Trent.
The club were founded in 1862 and claim that title themselves. In 1888 Notts County were also one of the founders of the Football League.
A few hundred metres. The two grounds are on either side of the Trent, Meadow Lane on the north side and Nottingham Forest's City Ground on the south side.
