Sincil Bank has been the home of Lincoln City, the Imps, since 1895. It is a compact ground with four stands close to the pitch, with the outline of Lincoln Cathedral rising above the city. Since July 2026 the stadium has been called the ProAmpac Stadium, but for the supporters it is still Sincil Bank.

In 2026 Lincoln City were promoted to the Championship, the second tier of English football, as League One champions. It is the first time since 1961 that the club have played at that level. Their old rivals are the other Lincolnshire clubs, above all Grimsby Town and Scunthorpe United.

Lincoln is a historic city with a cathedral and an old town within walking distance of the ground. Direct trains from London King's Cross reach Lincoln in about two hours; the nearest airport is Humberside, with East Midlands a little further away. We can also put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the popular matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The stadium and how to get there

The ProAmpac Stadium is on Sincil Bank in the south of Lincoln, less than one and a half kilometres from the city centre. Lincoln Central railway station is about a fifteen-minute walk away. From the station, walk south along the High Street, over the level crossing, and after about ten minutes turn off towards Sincil Bank. You can park in the streets around South Park Avenue, about a ten-minute walk away.

Hospitality at Lincoln City

At Lincoln City, hospitality is based in the lounges of the ground. For the 2026/27 season the club have built a new hospitality area behind the Rilmac Stand. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a small ground with few seats, it is a comfortable and secure way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off and, if you can, arrive on foot or by train, as parking close to the ground is limited. From Lincoln Central it is a walk of about fifteen minutes. Lincoln is well served by rail: direct LNER trains run from London King's Cross in about two hours. If you want to make a few days of it, we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. The cathedral and the old town are a short distance from the ground.
