The Stade Marie-Marvingt is the home of Le Mans FC. The ground opened in 2011 as the MMArena and in 2022 was named after Marie Marvingt, a French sporting pioneer and aviator. It holds 25,064, all seated and under a roof.
In the 2026/27 season Le Mans FC play in Ligue 1, back in the French top flight for the first time since 2010. The club climbed out of the lower divisions in a short time. The traditional rivals are Stade Lavallois, against whom Le Mans contest the Maine derby. The ground is next to the circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans; the atmosphere comes mainly from the Virage Sud, the south stand.
Le Mans is easy to reach: the TGV takes about an hour from Paris-Montparnasse, and trains also run from Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. The Stade Marie-Marvingt is in the Antarès district, in the south of Le Mans, about five kilometres from the station. It is part of a sports complex next to the famous circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Tram line T1 runs from the Gares stop through the city to the terminus Antarès-Stade Marie Marvingt, close to the ground. The ride takes about twenty minutes. There are large car parks around the stadium.

The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. Come well before kick-off and take the tram, as the roads around the ground are busy after the match. Tram line T1 runs from the station and the centre directly to the terminus by the stadium. If you are coming from further afield, the TGV from Paris-Montparnasse reaches Le Mans in about an hour; we can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, visit the old town, the Cité Plantagenêt, and the Cathédrale Saint-Julien.
