The Raiffeisen Arena is the home of LASK, the oldest club in Linz and, in 1965, the first Austrian champions from outside Vienna. In 2026 LASK won the league title again. The stadium opened in February 2023 on the same site as the old Linzer Stadion from 1952. For league matches it holds 19,080, including about 4,500 standing places.
The big matches are the city derby against Blau-Weiß Linz and the matches against Rapid Wien, long-standing rivals of the LASK support. The stadium is fully covered, including the standing terrace.
Linz is on the Danube, on the railway line between Vienna and Salzburg, with direct trains to both cities. Linz Airport lies to the south-west of the city. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Raiffeisen Arena is on the Gugl, a hill in the Froschberg district, west of the centre of Linz. From the Hauptbahnhof a bus runs to the Stadion stop on Ziegeleistraße. From Taubenmarkt, on Landstraße in the centre, a bus runs to the Botanischer Garten stop, on the forecourt of the stadium. On matchdays LINZ AG LINIEN runs more frequent services. You can also walk from the Hauptbahnhof, but the route is uphill.
At LASK, hospitality is based in the business seats, the skyboxes and the stadium's business club, the BWT Business Club, which spans three floors. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat in the main stand and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a modern stadium like this it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Come well before kick-off, as there is little parking around the ground and the area around the Gugl is residential. So travel by LINZ AG LINIEN bus, or park in a car park in the centre and take the bus from there. The stadium uses a system of reusable cups and bottles. Linz is easy to reach by train from Vienna and Salzburg; we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, the old town, the Hauptplatz and the banks of the Danube are close by.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the derby against Blau-Weiß Linz, the matches against Rapid Wien and European nights they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
By LINZ AG LINIEN bus. From the Hauptbahnhof a bus runs to the Stadion stop; from Taubenmarkt in the centre to the Botanischer Garten stop. Both stops are by the ground.
For league matches it holds 19,080, including standing places. For international matches the standing areas become seated and the capacity is 17,117.
At UEFA matches a sponsor's name may not be used. That is why the Raiffeisen Arena is then called the Oberösterreich Arena. It is the same stadium on the Gugl in Linz.
