The Guldensporenstadion is the home of KV Kortrijk, the city's club in red and white. The ground is named after the Battle of the Golden Spurs, fought near Kortrijk in 1302. It opened in 1947 and was renovated in 1988 and 2008. Today it holds 9,399.

After one season in the second tier, KV Kortrijk have been back in the Belgian top flight since 2026. The biggest match is the derby against Zulte Waregem, the neighbouring club from the same region. When Club Brugge, Anderlecht or another big club visit, the ground is well filled too. The atmosphere comes mainly from the standing terrace behind the goal.

Kortrijk is a compact city on the Leie, with an old centre you can explore on foot. Trains run direct from Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and Lille; from Brussels the journey takes about an hour and 20 minutes. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The stadium and how to get there

The Guldensporenstadion is on the Meensesteenweg and the Moorseelsestraat, on the north-western side of the centre of Kortrijk. From the station and the Grote Markt it is a walk of fifteen minutes to half an hour. If you take the bus, get off at the De Lijn stop Kortrijk Meensepoort. The club directs visitors arriving by car to the Kortrijk Weide car park, about a 13-minute walk from the stadium.

Hospitality at KV Kortrijk

At KV Kortrijk, hospitality is in the main stand. There are business seats and boxes there, and beneath the stand are lounges where guests eat and drink before and after the match. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat and a well-looked-after welcome. In a stadium of this size you are close to the pitch, which makes it a pleasant choice for a corporate guest or a group.

Practical information for matchday

Come well before kick-off. Behind the entrance is the Kouterplein, with a café, food stalls and the club shop. On matchdays the car parks at the stadium are only for holders of a parking permit, so park within walking distance, for example at Kortrijk Weide. Opposite the entrance there is a large bicycle park. Every ticket is issued in the holder's name. If you are coming from further afield, the train to Kortrijk is an easy choice. We are happy to put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport.
