Cercle Brugge are one of the oldest clubs in Belgium. The club were founded in 1899, play in green and black and are nicknamed De Vereniging. Cercle have been Belgian champions three times, in 1911, 1927 and 1930, and have won the Belgian Cup twice. In the 2026/27 season the club play in the Belgian First Division.
The Jan Breydel Stadium opened in 1975 as the Olympiastadion and was enlarged and renamed for Euro 2000. Cercle share the ground with Club Brugge. That makes the Bruges derby special: both clubs play their home games in the same stadium, and on derby day the city is split into two camps.
For a visitor, Bruges is a beautiful destination, with a historic centre full of canals and old buildings. Direct trains run from Brussels Airport to Bruges in about an hour and a half. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the derby it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
The Jan Breydel Stadium is in Sint-Andries, in the west of Bruges, about 3.5 to 4 kilometres from the historic centre and the station. De Lijn buses run from the station and the centre towards Sint-Andries; the Sint-Andries Kerk stop is a five to ten-minute walk from the stadium. On foot it takes about 40 to 50 minutes from the station. There are hundreds of bicycle racks around the ground, and you can hire a bike at the station.
At Cercle Brugge, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the Jan Breydel Stadium. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Come well before kick-off and travel by bus or bike, as parking is only allowed in the designated spaces around the ground. The residential area around the stadium has few cafés and restaurants; the centre of Bruges offers far more choice. Bruges has a direct train connection with Brussels Airport and with Brussels-South. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, the Markt, the Belfry and the canals are a short distance from the station.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the derby against Club Brugge they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
From Bruges station, take a De Lijn bus towards Sint-Andries. From the Sint-Andries Kerk stop it is a five to ten-minute walk. On foot it takes about 40 to 50 minutes from the station.
