Stockport County play at Edgeley Park, in the Edgeley area of Stockport, south of Manchester. The ground opened in 1891 and has been the club's home since 1902. It holds 10,852, all seated. Edgeley Park is a proper English football ground: four stands close to the pitch and a stadium in the middle of a residential area. It opened in 1891 for rugby and has been the home of Stockport County since 1902. Since 2001 it has been all-seater; it holds 10,852.

The club are known as the Hatters, after the hat-making industry Stockport was once famous for. After years outside the Football League, County won the National League in 2022 and League Two in 2024. Since then the club have played in League One. Support is strong: the club sell a lot of season tickets and the ground is often full.

Stockport is right next to Manchester and easy to reach. A direct train runs from Manchester Airport to Stockport, and from Manchester Piccadilly it takes less than 20 minutes. Edgeley Park is on Hardcastle Road in Edgeley, a residential area of Stockport. Stockport station is about half a mile away, around 800 metres. On foot it takes 10 to 15 minutes, via Station Road and Caroline Street. Stockport town centre is a 10 to 15-minute walk away. Buses also stop close to the ground, for example at the Hardcastle Road stop.

The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat and food and drink in a club suite before and after the match. Arrive well before kick-off, as it gets busy around the ground. Travel by train, as parking in the area is difficult: many streets are for residents only.
