Edgeley Park is a proper English football ground: four stands close to the pitch and a stadium in the middle of a residential area. It opened in 1891 for rugby and has been the home of Stockport County since 1902. Since 2001 it has been all-seater; it holds 10,852.

The club are known as the Hatters, after the hat-making industry Stockport was once famous for. After years outside the Football League, County won the National League in 2022 and League Two in 2024. Since then the club have played in League One. Support is strong: the club sell a lot of season tickets and the ground is often full.

Stockport is right next to Manchester and easy to reach. A direct train runs from Manchester Airport to Stockport, and from Manchester Piccadilly it takes less than 20 minutes. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are available in limited numbers; for busy matches the ground sells out quickly. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

スタジアムとアクセス

Edgeley Park is on Hardcastle Road in Edgeley, a residential area of Stockport. Stockport station is about half a mile away, around 800 metres. On foot it takes 10 to 15 minutes, via Station Road and Caroline Street. Stockport town centre is a 10 to 15-minute walk away. Buses also stop close to the ground, for example at the Hardcastle Road stop.

Stockport Countyのホスピタリティ

At Stockport County, hospitality is a relaxed way to experience a match at Edgeley Park. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat and food and drink in a club suite before and after the match. Because ordinary tickets often run out, a package with a confirmed seat also gives certainty. That is handy for a corporate guest or a group.

試合当日の実用情報

Arrive well before kick-off, as it gets busy around the ground. Travel by train, as parking in the area is difficult: many streets are for residents only. There is a multi-storey car park at Stockport station. From Manchester Airport, take the direct train to Stockport; from Manchester Piccadilly trains run all day. We can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together as a tailor-made football trip.
