The Heliodoro Rodríguez López has been the home of CD Tenerife since 1925. The stadium celebrated its hundredth birthday in 2025. Between 1988 and 2001 it was redeveloped in phases into the ground of today, which holds just over 22,000. The Spain national team has also played several internationals there.

The big match of the season is the Canary Islands derby against UD Las Palmas, the club from the neighbouring island of Gran Canaria. Both clubs play in the Segunda División in 2026/27. The ground is then full and the whole island is focused on that one match.

For a visitor, Tenerife is an attractive destination: a mild climate all year round and a stadium right in the middle of the city. The island has two airports, Tenerife Norte and Tenerife Sur; Tenerife Norte is the closer of the two to Santa Cruz. We arrange the tickets and can advise on accommodation and transport, which you book yourself. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the derby it is different. The Heliodoro Rodríguez López is in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, just south-west of the centre. The address is Calle La Mutine. The four stands are named after the surrounding streets, such as the San Sebastián stand. The Intercambiador, the city's main bus and tram station and the terminus of tram line 1, is about a ten-minute walk away. Several bus routes stop at the Tomé Cano stop, close to the stadium.

At CD Tenerife, hospitality is based in the palcos (boxes) in the San Sebastián stand. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, access before the match and food and drink in the box. In a compact stadium right in the city it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Come well before kick-off and travel by public transport or on foot, as parking near the ground is limited. From the Intercambiador it is about a ten-minute walk to the stadium. If you are coming from outside Tenerife, fly to Tenerife Norte or Tenerife Sur; buses run to Santa Cruz from both airports. We arrange the ticket and help you think through the hotel and the journey, which you book yourself. If you want to make a day of it, the centre of Santa Cruz and the harbour are within walking distance.
