The Estadio de Vallecas is not a big stadium, but it is one of the most distinctive in Spain. It sits in the middle of a working-class neighbourhood, among the blocks of flats. There is no stand behind one goal, so from your seat you can see the homes of the neighbourhood. The ground opened in 1976 and holds almost 15,000.

Rayo are the club of the Vallecas district, with a strong identity of their own and a passionate following. The Madrid derbies against Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid are the highlights of the season. Because the ground is small, the crowd sits close to the pitch and the atmosphere is intense.

For a visitor, Madrid is an ideal destination: a large, lively capital with museums, squares and plenty of good restaurants, and a ground that is easy to reach by metro. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

試合当日の実用情報

Come well before kick-off and travel by metro, as parking in the busy streets around the ground is difficult. Little hot food is sold inside the stadium itself; there are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance in the neighbourhood. If you want to make a day of it, the Prado, the Retiro Park and the Plaza Mayor are a short ride away on metro line 1.
