The Orange Vélodrome is the beating heart of Marseille. Few clubs in France have as close a bond with their city as Olympique de Marseille, and you feel that everywhere on a matchday. The wave-shaped roofs and steep stands make the noise intense, with the Virage Sud and Virage Nord the loudest ends.

The Orange Vélodrome is in the south of Marseille, about three kilometres from the old port. Metro line 2 has a Rond-Point du Prado stop about a two-minute walk from the ground. From the centre and the old port you take line 1 and change to line 2 at Castellane. Several bus routes stop nearby as well.

The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat along the side, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. Come well before kick-off and travel by metro, as parking near the ground is limited and it gets busy. Bring an ID. If you want to make a day of it, the old port, the Notre-Dame de la Garde basilica and the coast are a short metro ride or trip away.
