St Mary's Stadium has been the home of Southampton since 2001. Before that the club played for 103 years at The Dell, a small ground in the middle of the city. The new stadium is on the River Itchen and has just over 32,000 seats. The name refers to the club's origins: Southampton were founded in 1885 by members of St Mary's church. That is also where the nickname The Saints comes from.
In the 2026/27 season Southampton play in the Championship, the second tier of English football. The match everyone wants to see is the South Coast Derby against Portsmouth, some 30 kilometres along the coast. Then the ground is full and the atmosphere is at its peak. The club song is When the Saints Go Marching In, which you will often hear in the stands.
For a visitor, Southampton is a pleasant destination: a port city on the south coast, easy to reach by train from London, and a stadium within walking distance of the centre. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.
St Mary's Stadium is on Britannia Road, just east of Southampton city centre, in a dockside area on the west bank of the Itchen. From the High Street it is about a fifteen-minute walk. From Southampton Central station it is about a half-hour walk. On matchdays a shuttle bus runs from the south side of the station, on the Western Esplanade side. Shuttle buses to the stadium also run from Town Quay, by the ferry terminal for the Isle of Wight.
At Southampton, hospitality is based in the lounges and executive boxes of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.
Det er den laveste pris for hver type i vores aktuelle udbud. De to beløb kan komme fra forskellige kampe, for prisen varierer meget efter modstanderen.
Come well before kick-off, as it is a fair walk from the station. Travel by train or shuttle bus, as there is no visitor parking at the stadium and the roads around the ground close before the match. Afterwards the route to the station is busy; the shuttle bus or walking is often quicker. If you want to make a day of it, the old city walls, Ocean Village and the docks are a short walk away.
For ordinary league matches there is often availability. For the derby against Portsmouth they go quickly; a package with a confirmed seat gives certainty then.
The price varies by opponent and by stand. This page shows the current from-price per type once we have availability for a match.
