Sevilla are a club with a strong identity in a city that lives for football, with the fierce rivalry with city neighbours Real Betis as the highlight. That derby, the Gran Derbi, is one of the hottest in Spain.

For a visitor, Seville is a beautiful destination: a historic centre, good weather and a ground that is easy to reach by metro. Come well before kick-off and travel by metro or on foot from Santa Justa, as parking near the ground is limited. Bring an ID, as in Spain the ticket check often asks for a document. If you want to make a day of it, the cathedral, the Giralda and the Alcázar in the historic centre are a short metro ride away.
