The Max-Morlock-Stadion is the home of 1. FC Nürnberg. The stadium opened in 1928 and is named after Max Morlock, the club hero from Nuremberg who became world champion with Germany in 1954. It was thoroughly modernised for the 2006 World Cup. For league matches it holds 50,000.
1. FC Nürnberg were founded in 1900 and have been German champions nine times. The club also won the DFB-Pokal four times, most recently in 2007. In the 2026/27 season the Club, as supporters call them, play in the 2. Bundesliga. Greuther Fürth play there too; the Frankenderby between the two clubs has a long history.
Nuremberg has ICE connections to Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt and Vienna, among others, and an airport about five kilometres from the centre, reachable by metro. Hospitality hos FC Nurnberg
At 1. FC Nürnberg, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a large stadium with a club so rich in tradition it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Come well before kick-off and use public transport; for big matches it is busy around the stadium. Before you set off, check which S-Bahn runs to Nürnberg Frankenstadion. We can combine the ticket with accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, the Imperial Castle and the old town centre are a short ride from the stadium.
