The Den is the home of Millwall, the London club founded in 1885 by workers at a canning factory on the Isle of Dogs. The stadium opened in 1993, a short distance from the old ground on Cold Blow Lane. It was one of the first new stadiums in England after the Taylor Report on stadium safety. It holds just over 20,000, all seated and close to the pitch.

In the 2026/27 season Millwall are in the Championship, the second tier in England. Their biggest rivals are West Ham United; matches between the two clubs are known as the Dockers derby. The matches against Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic and Leeds United also mean a lot. The club's nickname is The Lions, and their best-known chant is "No one likes us, we don't care".

For a visitor, The Den combines well with a few days in London. From Gatwick Airport the train runs direct to London Bridge, and from there it is a short ride to the ground. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. 試合当日の実用情報

Travel by public transport, as there is no visitor parking at the ground. The train from London Bridge to South Bermondsey is the quickest route; after the match the platform can be crowded, so allow some extra time. If you are coming from further afield, the train from Gatwick takes you direct to London Bridge. We can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, London Bridge, Borough Market and Tower Bridge are close by.
