Hamburger SVについて

The Volksparkstadion is one of the largest grounds in Germany. Hamburger SV are a traditional club with a huge, loyal support that has followed the club through all the years. When it is full, with the large standing terrace in full voice, the atmosphere is overwhelming.

The modern ground sits in the green Volkspark, a little outside the centre, which gives the walk up to a match a calm character. The support brings its traditions and songs.

For a visitor, Hamburg is a beautiful port city, superbly connected, and the ground easy to find by S-Bahn. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the top games it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Volksparkstadion is in the green Volkspark, in the north-west of Hamburg, just over seven kilometres from the centre. By S-Bahn you take line S3 or S21 to Stellingen station, about a fifteen-minute walk from the ground. On matchdays shuttle buses run from the S-Bahn stations. A ticket for a home match often includes free travel on Hamburg public transport.

Come well before kick-off and travel by S-Bahn to Stellingen, as parking near the ground is limited. On matchdays shuttle buses run from the S-Bahn. Bring an ID. If you want to make a day of it, the harbour, the Reeperbahn and the centre of Hamburg are close by.
