The Sportpark Ronhof has been the home of the SpVgg from Fürth since 1910. The stadium is in the Ronhof district in the north of the city. Between 2012 and 2018 a new south stand and a new main stand were built. It holds 16,626, about half on terracing.
As SpVgg Fürth the club became German champions three times, in 1914, 1926 and 1929. In 1996 the football section of TSV Vestenbergsgreuth joined, hence the name Greuther Fürth. The club have played two seasons in the Bundesliga. In the 2026/27 season Fürth play in the 2. Bundesliga, as do neighbours 1. FC Nürnberg; the Frankenderby between the two clubs has a long history.
Fürth lies right next to Nuremberg and is connected by metro and S-Bahn to Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof, where the ICE trains stop. Nuremberg airport is a short distance away. From the station or the town hall, bus routes 173, 174 and 177 run to the Friedhof stop; from there it is a short walk. From the old town centre it is a walk of about twenty minutes.
