The Select Car Leasing Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The ground replaced Elm Park, where the club played for more than a hundred years. Until 2021 it was called the Madejski Stadium, after the chairman at the time; you still hear that name often.

Reading were founded on Christmas Day 1871 and are nicknamed The Royals. The best season came in 2005/06: Reading won the Championship with 106 points, a record at the time. Three seasons in the Premier League followed, the first of which ended in eighth place. Oxford United are the rivals; they also play in League One in 2026/27.

Reading lies west of London and is quick to reach by train from London Paddington. Heathrow is the closest; we can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the derby it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Select Car Leasing Stadium is in Smallmead, in the south of Reading, close to junction 11 of the M4. Reading Green Park station, opened in 2023, is about 1.5 kilometres away; it is a walk of about 20 minutes. From the main station in the centre of Reading, take the bus or a taxi.

At Reading, hospitality is based in the lounges and corporate areas of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a manageable ground like this it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

試合当日の実用情報

Arrive well before kick-off. The ground is outside the centre, on a busy main road, so expect traffic on arrival and departure. Reading has fast trains to London Paddington and good connections with Oxford, Bristol and Heathrow. We can combine the ticket with accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip.
