The King Power Stadium has been the home of Leicester City, the Foxes, since 2002. It replaced Filbert Street, where the club played for more than a hundred years, and stands close to the old site. It holds 32,259 spectators. This is where Leicester celebrated the 2016 Premier League title, one of the biggest surprises in football history.

In 2021 Leicester also won the FA Cup for the first time. In the 2026/27 season the club play in League One, the third tier of English football. The historic rivals are Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Coventry City.

For a visitor, Leicester is easy to reach. From London St Pancras the train takes just over an hour to Leicester, and East Midlands Airport is about 35 kilometres away. The King Power Stadium is on Filbert Way, on the River Soar, south of Leicester city centre. Leicester railway station is about two kilometres away; the walk takes thirty to forty-five minutes, and a taxi gets you there in a few minutes. Several bus routes run from the centre to Aylestone Road, a five-minute walk from the ground. The stadium of rugby club Leicester Tigers is a short distance away.

At Leicester City, hospitality is based in the lounges and executive boxes of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good padded seat with a view of the pitch and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a stadium of this size it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

試合当日の実用情報

Come well before kick-off. Parking near the ground is limited and the roads are busy after the match; the bus to Aylestone Road or a walk from the station is often easier. On Saturdays the city's Park & Ride buses also run; check the times in advance. If you are coming from further afield, travel by train via London St Pancras or fly into East Midlands Airport or Birmingham Airport. We can combine ticket, accommodation and transport in a tailor-made football trip. If you want to make a day of it, Leicester city centre is easy to reach by bus or on foot.
