The Estadio de Gran Canaria is the home of UD Las Palmas, the biggest club in the Canary Islands. The ground opened in 2003 and originally had an athletics track. A redevelopment from 2014 removed the track and brought the stands closer to the pitch. It now holds just over 32,000. The stadium has also been chosen as a venue for the 2030 World Cup.

The biggest match of the season is the Canary Islands derby against CD Tenerife, who also play in the Segunda División in 2026/27. Then the stadium is full and turns yellow. Matches against clubs with a large following, such as Real Oviedo, Sporting Gijón and Real Valladolid, also draw big crowds.

Gran Canaria is warm all year round, which makes a match here attractive even in winter. Gran Canaria airport is about 18 kilometres south of the city and has flights from all over Europe. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. The Estadio de Gran Canaria is in the Siete Palmas district, outside the old centre of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The centre around Parque de Santa Catalina and Las Canteras beach are about 5 kilometres away. Guaguas Municipales city buses run from Parque de Santa Catalina to the stadium. A taxi is a good alternative.

At UD Las Palmas, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. It is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

試合当日の実用情報

Come well before kick-off. Buses to the stadium do not run very often and are full on matchdays, so plan your journey in good time or take a taxi. After the match the roads around Siete Palmas are busy. From the airport, Global bus route 60 takes about 30 minutes to Parque de Santa Catalina and San Telmo. If you want to make a few days of it, Las Canteras beach and the old Vegueta quarter are in the city itself.
