The Estadi Montilivi is a compact ground on the edge of Girona, between the university buildings and the woods. It opened in 1970 and grew with the club, with a new stand in 2010 and expansions after the promotions to the top flight. Today it holds just over 14,000 spectators, who sit close to the pitch.

Girona made a big leap in a short time. The club spent years in the lower divisions, reached the Primera División for the first time in 2017 and played in the Champions League in the 2024/25 season. In the 2026/27 season Girona play in the Segunda División. Historically, the Catalan matches against Barcelona and Espanyol are the ones that generate the most excitement.

For a visitor, Girona is a pleasant destination: a medieval old town on the river Onyar, with the Costa Brava close by. Girona-Costa Brava Airport is about twelve kilometres away, and from Barcelona the high-speed train gets you there in about forty minutes. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the bigger matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Estadi Montilivi is on the Avinguda de Montilivi, in the Girona district of the same name. The ground stands next to the Montilivi campus of the University of Girona, about 2.5 kilometres from the centre and the railway station. From the station, bus line L8 runs to the UDG Montilivi stop; line L11 also runs from the centre. On matchdays a club bus service runs from the courthouse to the stadium. Walking from the station takes about forty minutes.

At Girona, hospitality is based in the business seats and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a small ground like Montilivi these seats are limited, so it pays to book early, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

試合当日の実用情報

Come well before kick-off and take the bus, as there is little parking around the ground. The club's bus service from the courthouse is the easiest route on a matchday. If you are coming from further afield, fly into Girona-Costa Brava or Barcelona and continue to Girona by train; we can put that together for you as a tailor-made football trip, with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to make a day of it, the cathedral, the old Jewish quarter and the colourful houses along the Onyar are easy to explore on foot.
