The Estádio da Luz is the largest stadium in Portugal and the home of Benfica, the club with the biggest following in the country. The stadium opened in 2003, hosted the Euro 2004 final and later two Champions League finals, in 2014 and 2020. Since the 2025 redevelopment it holds 68,100.
The big matches are the derby against Sporting, who play just a few kilometres away, and the Clássico against FC Porto. Then the stadium is full and the atmosphere is the best of the whole year. A well-known ritual is the eagle that flies a lap over the pitch before kick-off.
For a visitor, Lisbon is an ideal destination: a beautiful old city, plenty of sunshine and a ground that is easy to reach by metro. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Estádio da Luz is in the Luz area, in the north-west of Lisbon, on the border of the Benfica and Carnide districts. Two stops on the blue metro line are within walking distance: Colégio Militar/Luz and Alto dos Moinhos. From the centre, for example from Baixa-Chiado, the blue line runs there directly. The Colombo shopping centre is next to the stadium.

The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. Come well before kick-off, not least so you do not miss the eagle's flight. Travel by metro, as parking near the ground is limited and the roads are busy after the match. With almost 70,000 spectators, the platforms at Colégio Militar/Luz can be packed after the final whistle; Alto dos Moinhos is sometimes quieter. If you want to make a day of it, the Alfama, Belém and the Baixa are a short metro or tram ride away.
