Aroucaのチケットとホスピタリティ

The Estádio Municipal de Arouca is the home of FC Arouca, the club from a small town in the hills south-east of Porto. The municipality built the stadium in 2006, when the club were still in the lower divisions. On promotion to the Primeira Liga in 2013 it was rebuilt and enlarged. In 2026/27 Arouca are once again in the Primeira Liga, the top division in Portugal.

For a club from such a small town, the rise has been remarkable. In 2016 the club reached European football for the first time, and in 2023 Arouca played in the Conference League qualifying rounds again. The club's nickname is Lobos, the wolves. In such a small ground you sit close to the pitch, and when Benfica, FC Porto or Sporting visit, it fills up quickly.

Most visitors fly into Porto airport and continue from there by car or coach; on the UNIR coach the journey from Porto takes about an hour. The Estádio Municipal de Arouca is in Arouca itself, in the valley of the river Arda. Arouca is part of the Porto metropolitan area, but lies in the hills south-east of the city. There is no railway station. Buses on the UNIR regional network run from Porto to Arouca; allow about an hour. By car it also takes about an hour from Porto. Around Arouca lies a geopark with the well-known walkways of the Passadiços do Paiva.

At FC Arouca, hospitality is small-scale. Skyboxes have been built into the eastern main stand. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat and food and drink before and after the match. In a ground of this size such seats are limited, so for a big match it is wise to book early.

試合当日の実用情報

Plan the journey to Arouca carefully, as there are not many buses a day and there is no train. A hire car from Porto or the airport gives you the most freedom. Come well before kick-off, especially for a big match. If you want to make more of it, stay in Porto and combine the match with the city or with a day in the geopark around Arouca.
