The Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca is the home of FC Alverca, a club from Alverca do Ribatejo, a small town on the Tagus just north of Lisbon. The club was founded in 1939 and the stadium opened in 1996. In 2025 the club returned to the top flight after 21 years. For the return, the ground was given new seats, new roofs and a general refurbishment. In the 2026/27 season FC Alverca play in the Primeira Liga.

With almost 7,000 seats it is one of the smaller grounds in the Portuguese top flight. That makes a visit personal: you sit close to the pitch and hear everything. The club has long ties with Benfica and already spent five seasons at the top level around 2000.

For a visitor, Alverca is easy to combine with a city break in Lisbon. From Lisbon airport you take the metro to Oriente and the suburban train to Alverca from there. We are happy to put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

The Complexo Desportivo FC Alverca is in Alverca do Ribatejo, in the municipality of Vila Franca de Xira, about 20 kilometres north of Lisbon. Alverca station is on the Lisbon suburban line to Azambuja. Trains leave from Santa Apolónia and Oriente, among other stations; the journey from Santa Apolónia takes about twenty minutes. From the station it is a walk of about fifteen minutes to the stadium.

At FC Alverca, hospitality is small-scale, in keeping with the size of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat in the main stand and food and drink before and after the match. In a ground of this size you sit close to the pitch, which makes a hospitality visit all the more personal, especially for a corporate guest or a small group.

試合当日の実用情報

Travel by train, as parking near the ground is limited on matchdays. After the final whistle the trains to Lisbon can be full, so allow for that. Most visitors stay in Lisbon, from where Alverca is quick to reach by train. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. If you want to see something in Alverca itself, the Museu do Ar, the aviation museum, and the walking paths along the Tagus are a good choice.
