The Mestalla is one of the most imposing grounds in Spain. The stands rise extremely steeply and sit close to the pitch, so the crowd towers high over the grass and the noise has nowhere to go. On a good night the atmosphere here is hard to match.

The Mestalla is central in the city of Valencia, on the Avenida de Aragón. The Aragón metro stop, on lines 5 and 7, is a short walk away. Several city bus routes also stop at the ground, and there is a large car park on the Avenida de Aragón. From the centre you reach the ground quickly by metro or on foot.

At Valencia, official hospitality is based in the palcos and lounges of the Mestalla. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match.
