Om AFC Wimbledon

Plough Lane is the home of AFC Wimbledon, a club founded by supporters in 2002. That happened after the old Wimbledon FC were set to move to Milton Keynes. The new ground opened in 2020, a few hundred metres from the site where Wimbledon FC played between 1912 and 1991. It holds just over 9,000, and the design leaves room for expansion later on.

In the 2026/27 season AFC Wimbledon play in League One, the third tier of English football. The match that stands out is the one against MK Dons, the club that grew out of the old Wimbledon FC. In a ground of this size you are close to the pitch, and the atmosphere is personal and passionate.

For a visitor it is a great way to see London beyond the big clubs. The ground is easy to reach by train from the centre, and from mainland Europe the Eurostar runs to St Pancras International. We can put together a tailor-made football trip with ticket, accommodation and transport. Tickets for ordinary league matches are often available; for the big matches it is different. We arrange official tickets and hospitality with a confirmed seat.

Hospitality hos AFC Wimbledon

At AFC Wimbledon, hospitality is based in the lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a compact ground like Plough Lane it is a pleasant way to experience the game up close, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Praktisk på kampdagen

Arrive in good time and use public transport. There is no parking at the ground itself, and the surrounding streets have parking restrictions on matchdays. Thameslink trains to Haydons Road run right through central London, calling at Blackfriars and Farringdon among others. If you are coming from abroad, fly into one of the London airports or take the Eurostar to St Pancras International. We can arrange ticket, accommodation and transport together in a tailor-made football trip.
