The Weserstadion is one of the most atmospheric grounds in the Bundesliga. Its setting right on the River Weser, with the water just behind the stands, gives the walk up to a match its own character. The facade of solar panels that lights up at night makes the ground recognisable.

The Weserstadion is on the bank of the Weser, on the east side of the centre of Bremen. Tram 3 towards Weserwehr takes you from the Domsheide in the centre to the Weserstadion stop in about seven minutes. Trams also run from the main station towards the ground. Parking near the ground is limited, so the tram is usually the easiest choice.

At Werder Bremen, official hospitality is based in the business and lounge areas of the Weserstadion. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In an atmospheric ground like this it is a pleasant way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Praktisk på kampdagen

Come well before kick-off and travel by tram from the centre, as parking near the ground is limited. Bring an ID. If you want to make a day of it, the Marktplatz, the old town hall and the Böttcherstraße in the historic centre of Bremen are close by.
