The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán has a reputation bigger than its capacity. The ground is compact and steep, so the crowd is on top of the pitch and the noise has nowhere to go. Especially on European nights, where Sevilla have a rich history, the stadium is on edge and the atmosphere is striking.

Sevilla are a club with a strong identity in a city that lives for football, with the fierce rivalry with city neighbours Real Betis as the highlight. That derby, the Gran Derbi, is one of the hottest in Spain.

For a visitor, Seville is a beautiful destination: a historic centre, good weather and a ground that is easy to reach by metro. The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán is in the Nervión district, about two kilometres east of the historic centre of Seville. Metro line 1, the city's only line, has Nervión and Gran Plaza stops within a short walk. Santa Justa railway station is about a ten-minute walk away. Several bus routes also serve the ground.

At Sevilla, official hospitality is based in the palcos and lounges of the ground. The difference with a regular ticket is the seat and the service: a good seat, a separate entrance and food and drink in a lounge before and after the match. In a stadium with such an intense atmosphere it is a comfortable way to experience the game, especially for a corporate guest or a group.

Praktisk på kampdagen

Come well before kick-off and travel by metro or on foot from Santa Justa, as parking near the ground is limited. Bring an ID, as in Spain the ticket check often asks for a document. If you want to make a day of it, the cathedral, the Giralda and the Alcázar in the historic centre are a short metro ride away.
