That makes it special to see how a compact ground in a provincial town regularly hosts the biggest clubs in Europe.

For a visitor, Vila-real is easy to reach from Valencia, about an hour's drive, and the ground is within walking distance of the centre. The Estadio de la Cerámica is in the centre of Vila-real, about a ten-minute walk from the town centre. Vila-real station is reachable by train from Valencia and Castellón among others. By car you drive from Valencia, about sixty kilometres south, via the AP-7 and take the Villarreal exit.
